El Toro

We made the 4-hour drive to Six Flags Great Adventure, our first visit to this park and any in the Six Flags chain this year. But today's visit certainly paid off our season passes because we got a visit on the pass at our home Six Flags last year, and we got premium parking this visit. Plus, there are discounts on food and merchandise.

Enough of that. This is El Toro, a big, wild wooden roller coaster. My last ride was in 2022, so I was eager to ride again. It's running a little rough, but the first half has some spectacular airtime. Note the front left wheel and the gap between it and the track. That really shows how out-of-your-seat this ride is.

The drive home was awful. Jill and I got in a big fight. That's all. I'm tired.
