Tubular Cosmos
Euan and his Mum and Dad departed early doors this morning to hopefully avoid the horrible journey they had coming up and suddenly the house seems very quiet.
Tony had to get on with printing his maps for his Controlling work this week at Malham ahead of the Dales Weekend and I put in a load of washing, moved some things back to where they belonged and discovered Euan's coat in my rucksack! The phone rang and it was Becky to say they were coming back to collect it, thankfully they had only reached the next village.
I then set about processing yesterday's Parkrun photos and tidying up my photo files on my new computer. I hope to return to commenting on journals in the next couple of days, but I have a few jobs to do first.
My blip was taken this evening of the cosmos, blue agapanthus and pink campion. We had to identify the campion as Tony brought them down from the allotment having brought them on, not knowing what they were, and we love the intensity of the colour now they have finally blossomed. The border is in danger of being taken over by several of the plants in it: Dad's nasturtiums; the two mints; the rosemary; the agapanthus and the cosmos. I think it might need culling at some point.
