Hill Top Ramblings

Small copper

Quite a nice day again, and our few butterflies were about. Rob spotted a small copper, we usually see one or two in the garden each year but they are naturally scarce so we don’t expect more.
The garden is looking quite end-of-summer with the grass fading. There are still plenty of flowers in the border.
I bottled some of the honey! It is a lovely green-gold colour, which suggests there is a high percentage of the delicious lime nectar in there.
A few lucky people will get a jar, but there isn’t much to go round. Precious stuff!
