Access.. only just

Once, a railway line ran along here and then it became a nice walk on our doorstep. There was a grassy field frequented by rabbits and lots of wild flowers. It was a safe enclosed space to walk my dogs, 
Then someone bought the land. He didn't want anyone walking there but there was a right of way. 
But he put the iron fence at what must have been considerable cost as its several hundred feet long and left only a narrow path. 

 He put the land up for sale but it's never sold in 6 years. I noticed he keeps the grass  verge trimmed but it's not used except by the rabbits. 
A shame
