Sadly deceased

I would have loved to have taken a photo of this butterfly alive, but sadly it was not to be. I found it caught in an old cobweb when I was tidying up after the workmen who did some work on my house today.

We usually get quite a few flying around in my front garden, but I've not seen any there this year. Perhaps they're waiting for my buddleia to flower - it's a bit late this year, like so many plants, after our extended winter.
