Fly-By

Work has been and will continue to be ridiculously busy as I try to get everything sorted before holiday. It was my last day in the office today, with a sweltering two hour meeting in the hottest room in the building. It was brilliant to get back home and know I won't be in London again for seventeen days! G and I spent the evening watching Return of the Jedi; my third Star Wars film. I'm definitely not enjoying them as much as seems the norm. We had an interlude when hundreds of birds flew over our flat on their way to/from somewhere. I thought they were geese at first, but now think they are too small. Whatever they were, they looked beautiful.
