Peck's skipper

I thought it was another least skipper ( been seeing them a lot). I must admit I  still can't tell the difference without a photo and SEEK . There are about 4 skippers that have similar colors and fairly similar markings. I routinely midID them. 
But it was a good photo day and I had to choose between a clearwing, the skipper , a cool fungus , and a female hummer the feeder. I tried to get her in the buddleia but she zipped out too fast. 
I did manage to salvage a dessert disaster . I was going to bring dessert to a get together from my old office today and decided to make a lemon poppyseed cake with lemon cream icing and blueberries n between the layers. The cake came out of the springform badly and pulled a lot of the edge off. It was not going to be  able to be iced , so I thought I might be able to use the lemon cream to make a trifle. IT worked! Disaster averted and we were only 30 min late. Whew!
