Caught
I thought I was photographing bees on the Wild Carrot, flowering profusely alongside the woodland path on our walk this morning. Spoilt for choice with pictures, this detail caught my eye. An extra pic for more details of this beautiful plant.
After a cool, grey start, it turned sunny and very warm while we were out at our woods again. We lingered long on the bench higher up the hill before taking a different route down. A bit circuitous but adds a lovely variation to our walks here. The dogs loved it, following scents in and out of the undergrowth.
An early lunch after the walk followed by a fairly productive afternoon with a little pottery time and a fair bit of greenhouse time. Jamie came round for a barbecue tea, the weather back to grey and cool by then, even a few spots of rain. Food was delicious and afterwards we headed back to his and watched Taskmaster to round off a pretty full day.
