The weekend again!
I started my day at 4am this morning, in absolute agony and by 6.30am, admitted defeat and got up and made my coffee.
I had a second and managed to go back to sleep for a short while. It took me a good few hours from 9amish onwards to get going.
I had things to do in town, including getting my hair cut and I listened to some speeches from the Dumfries and Galloway Trade Union Council who were at the Plainstanes in the High Street.
Late afternoon, I went to a gig at the Coach and Horses with my good friends Catherine and Irene (today’s Blip) and left them at about 8pm as I was feeling fatigued but thankfully my fibromyalgia pain has lessened.
I met a lot of my music friends which was lovely, some whom I haven’t saw in a while due to my flare up. Lots of laughs!
Tonight’s line up was Cherry Pinks, Darren (Daz) McCormick and Adam Blake, all of whom I have saw many times before and all of whom performed brilliantly. Music really is one of the best medicines!
I don’t drink so enjoyed some lovely alcohol free cider - Old Mout Berries and Cherries - highly recommend it.
Had dinner, did some Duolingo music practice and hoping for an early night tonight as pretty wiped out after a long but productive day.
I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend so far :)
