Marigolds

Today we went clothes shopping in readiness for our forthcoming holiday. I bought a new waterproof jacket and fleece. (We don't  go in for  beach/ sunbathing  holidays!)

It's been a warm sunny day. The Pot Marigolds (Calendula officinalis) have survived the  onslaught of the slugs and snails  and their flowers are looking very cheerful.
