Pump

The little pond partially fills in 24 hours. Each morning I run the pump for 10 minutes. The pump will push water at 150l a minute but here it is pushing maybe 50m distance with a head of maybe 15m. Hopefully that is in the region of 500l a day which feeds into two 3000l tanks which in turn feed into my gravity fed drip irrigation system.

We have had a meagre 4mm of rain since returning on July 26th and v high rates of evapotranspiration due to wall to wall sunshine getting up to mid 40sC in the sun. V few vegetable plants can survive that regime without consistent irrigation.
