There's a buzz in the air
Nice to see loads of bumble bees feeding on the Hebe outside the conservatory this morning - there has been a real shortage of bees this year on the plants I would normally expect to see alive with them, particularly the mock orange which they normally love. Few butterflies around now too but again not as many as usual, not seen any Red Admirals or Painted Ladies, just Small Tortoiseshell and Peacock so far, plus a few Common Blue and Small Copper out on the golf course.
