Round zucchini
Another fresh morning dog walk.
Carried out various tasks at home. Cycled to nearby wholefood warehouse for refills and sundry items.
Hung a washing load out.
Sat and read in the sunshine after preparing dinner. It's been relatively quiet today.
Someone donated the round zucchini to us. I thought it would be like a pumpkin with a lot of seeds on the inside but it's wall to wall creamy flesh when I cut it open. I roasted diced segments with different vegetables and halloumi. The skin softened like a regular zucchini and isn't tough like a marrow. Still more to use up.
Maybe a chilled zucchini and mint soup might be an option.
Pleasant evening everyone.
