Cricket at the Rec

There has been cricket at the same spot in Linton for a long time, I think at least 200 years but hopefully someone local can tell me exactly.

I've spent a day chopping down ivy at the front of the house, attending to the pond and lopping off branches of a large acer, so was happy for a walk in the sunshine this evening.

What perfect weather for cricket, Linton were doing well when we walked past.
