Thanks for all your shopping tips yesterday: I'll bear them in mind. I don't think I'll be buying a new TV in the immediate future. I expect my next new toy will be a bit smaller than that :-)

Also following on from yesterday, I heard on the news this morning that the bin men are threatening an all out strike during the Festival. That'll be nice for the tourists - half the city dug up and the other half covered in garbage...

I can see the weekend... it's there, in the distance...
