Black Holes

Some paperwork to attend to followed by lunch.

Today’s picture is of two large holes that have appeared in the border at the top of the orchard. There are various other holes in the garden, made by rabbits and rats. However, these two are much larger, badger or fox sized. The wildlife camera I put out last night did not capture any movement. My identification app tells me it is made by mammals, Moles or Desmen. A Desmen is an aquatic mole-like creature. Google tells me there are none in the UK; the hole is far too big to be a mole! I shall put the camera out again and see if we capture anything tonight.

The temperature at noon today was twenty-two degrees Celsius.
