New Vases

Three of the vases made will the coarse clay I recently bought. I used up some ancient glazes as the one I made recently is problematic. We went for a walk again this morning. A bit of exercise is needed, plus it is good to see our environs early in the day. We saw N and S with E and F, so we caught up on a few things and asked N about Japan. She tells us that there will be an expo in Osaka next year. For some reason we are reading lots of books about Japan at the moment, particularly Murakami and a travel book, The Japanese Chronicles by Nicolas Bouvier, a wonderful translation. At present, D is busy bottling some rosehip syrup. The linden flower cordial she made is quite popular.
