Bastille Day

There was to be no win for a French rider on this day, the 14th July in Le Tour. No, it was a Kenyan-born Brit by the name of Chris Froome who provided a dominant display on that most dramatic of mountains - Mont Ventoux. It was edge of the seat stuff and a real Tour de Force display as all other riders were left in his trail.
