Time for a little fun today....

I don't know where to begin about life the last six months so I will just list some of the things happening. 
I can't do the job I am supposed to do. Because of the size of the company I hired onto, they want their drivers to transfer somewhere else to give something new a try. I did have the option to resign but at my age and health issues - that wasn't really an option. So on Sunday I start a new job hauling for a major department store. The account is currently down 4 drivers so they are willing to work with me to help them and me out. So much less stress than my current job for many reasons with the same pay - and I don't have to work as hard - unless I want to make even more money. This will also allow me to see my mom more than once a week AND time to spend photographing the birds too.
Eight years ago when I was diagnosed with diabetes (Type 2), I had an image taken of my eyes, another about 4 years ago and since I have had vision issues in my right eye lately, another one. The amount of damage that mostly controlled diabetes has done is very evident - mostly in the right eye - for whatever reason. Not a lot I can do about it except start to wear glasses (specially coated UV protection and...) and keep my sugar levels in check. This also came up during the time of my annual exam to keep my license. If everything goes right, I will meet the deadline by a few days.. Still waiting for the glasses to show up.
Diet and exercise has changed too... Nearly zero sugary things. My mom asked me last Saturday where was my doughnut and I had to tell her I can't have them anymore - even occasionally.. This has helped my lose some weight but I have more to go. I also had my first low blood sugar in awhile - actually a good thing - as I learn to keep my sugars even lower than normal if possible but still at safe levels to protect my eyes.. 
And...

In the extra I signed Tiger up for $5 box of the month club... Well actually I decided to let the old Costco executive account expire as my mom was the primary and there was to much paperwork to downgrade the account  so I decided to sign up for the basic account. I go to Costco about once a month and by myself, I will never get enough rebate to justify the executive level. That is where I got the new box in the extra for Tiger.

Tomorrow I go get fingerprinted and photographed for another background check to make sure I'm not wanted by the FBI or on the terrorist watch list. After about a dozen background checks the last thirty years, it should be smooth sailing. This will allow me great access to federally protected sites and offer me more job opportunities. I still haven't decided to go to the company school to be able to haul literally ANYTHING yet but...

Then I will go see my mom...
