Wedding venue

Sneaked off for a couple of hours to check out our prospective wedding venue in carmel mountain ranch country club. By far the best value for money it's set in a nice golf course surrounded by nice houses. It's further from the ocean and so it's relatively cheaper and more bang for your buck than others we have seen either downtown or on the coast.

We are planning well ahead as the ceremony won't be until sept 2014. But easier to get things done now than stress out in the few months before. The wife is a great planner and is getting stuck in with all the details. Think I will just have to turn up!

Got notification my green card paperwork is in the pipeline. Should be getting an appointment to go down to Chula Vista and get my biometrics done.

Came home to find out the wife had forgotten all her smart trousers for work in Portland this week - a late night trip to target in order when she arrives. In addition babe had eaten another entire loaf of bread. She is in the bad books for this week now....
