Summertime

Secondborn and I both live off Cowley Road, about a mile apart. It is, we agree, the best street in Oxford, with food, music, languages and outdoor and indoor liveliness. This evening we bought ourselves a picnic supper and sat eating and chatting on a bench between our two homes until the evening air became too chilly on our bare arms.
