Life with Altitude

Damp morning today, a lot of overnight rain. A few dry spells, but mainly a morning  At lunchtime, there is a dry spell, so partner and I go out, but ealy in the walk, partner gets a phone call. It's our delivery of shrubbery wine from Cairn O'Mhor, so we dash home to receive the parcel. Then we head out again. At the furthest point in the walk, the rain suddenly starts, ok initially, then the wind increases with the heaviness of the rain. Soaked by the time we get home. So a change of shorts required. During lunch I discover one of the settings on the camera has changed, the one to dampen any shutter vibration. So I reset that.

The rain continues until after 2pm. The clouds slowly clear. By the time of the after work walk. Lovely views across the Firth of Forth and of teh Craigmillar and Edinburgh Castles. No views of any munros though. The blip shows my partner admiring the view of west Edinburgh

Less than 15 hours of daylight today. The light goes on a 9pm.
