Bognie or Conzie?

This I admit is far from the best photograph I have posted but this ruined castle, which resembles a factory has intrigued me for several years. My aim of exploring it as I passed was thwarted by the grazing cows.
It transpires that the castle is known as both Bognie Castle and Conzie Castle - there is controversy as to which is strictly correct. Locally it has always been known as Conzie from the farm on which it stands but was built by the Morrisons of Bognie around 1660 - 1670

Ian Shepherd aptly describes the castle as ' A tall, gaunt and narrow ruin whose rooms (four-window/four storey) suggest a Palace block rather than a castle.)

According to.local tradition the castle, although not a folly, was never inhabited.
