Lago di Braies

A beautiful lake at 1470m high in the mountains.
Beautiful blue water and impressive mountains all around it. What a beautiful place we visited today.

Unlike yesterday everything went as planned, thanks to the parkingtickets I bought online a few days ago. My registered license plate was recognized and all the barriers went up. 

We walked, strolled actually, around the whole lake. A distance of 3.7 kilometers. Photographing along the way. Halfway we ended up in the middle of a herd of lazy cows that liked to be petted and cuddled. What a nice surprise.

In the afternoon we were in doubt to make a second attempt for the Drei Zinnen (see yesterday's blip) but when we drove past the parking, we decided not to give it a go. We went to our home and had a quiet afternoon.

And that concludes the day trips of this vacation.
Tomorrow is our final day here. We're planning on sleeping long and take it easy. Cleaning and packing will also take some time.
