Moorgate Street

This morning found me in east Belfast and while my better half was doing some shopping I went for a walk down the old railway line, which is now a walkway.  A lot of the older Belfast one up one down town houses are almost gone and I imagine streets like this one will be redeveloped at some point.

I like the railings and gate at the end of the street; this gives access to a long passageway which runs to what would have been Bloomfield Railway Station.

These streets were once very common in Belfast but they are now quickly disappearing.  The next street up is Moorfield Street, the subject of the extra photo, taken from the old railway line, it was the colour blue that caught my eye!
