From the cafe

Serving coffee here since 1998. One of the many Algerian-owned businesses in the area, and one of the first businesses to start selling coffee, before it became so popular.
Our manager gave the students a pep talk; for the first time in two weeks I heard two students speak unscripted by technology. I hope it continues! I’m noticing their over reliance on it is having quite a negative effect on their language level. What’s more, they seem to think we won’t notice and it’s ok. They need to function at Uni, after this preparatory course too..
