smile even though it's aching

I watched the Michael Jackson memorial service on internet. There were quite moving speeches and performances and I learned that Jackson's favourite song was also one favourite of mine: "Smile", the theme music for Charlie Chaplin's silent picture Modern Times. I had to shed a few tears.
