after the rain

There was a LOT of rain overnight and then it continued until about 4pm, when the sun came out again. I liked lying in bed listening to the rain outside, not that I listened for long as I was asleep by 9.45pm. I was still tired midmorning and had a nap before lunchtime. I can't remember the last time that happened!

So I've taken it easy today - have written letters, made bread, done shopping, picked blackberries and ambled along to Routin Brig to look at the waterfall. I'm so glad I did some mowing yesterday as the lawn is sodden!
