Guelder-rose

This morning I had another look at all the trees, shrubs etc in my son’s new garden. This Guelder-rose is actually in the garden next door but lots of branches overhanging into their garden. Lots of mature specimens which need some pruning etc. difficult to tell what is in the borders so they need to wait til next spring..maybe some bulbs. I will return in September and plant up some pots with bulbs as an easy fix. They also have a small pond which looks very overgrown with a lot of irises, , not my area of expertise but I think it needs thinning out . 

I drive home via Henley and a quick visit to the Rowing Museum by the river. It has changed since I was there last many years ago. A very big cafe and a big playground in the riverside gardens. All family may meet up there soon. A nice little town which would be nice to explore more.
