Neglect

Back to rain and wind today.
The weather, so far, in August has been terrible and there are barely any plants with flowers on in the garden now, all either blown or washed away. This little viola did however catch my eye as I walked through our rather decrepit wrought iron gate. We have lived in this house since 1999 and the gate has never had a lick of paint, such terrible neglect I know but I like the way it ages.
