Hulk!

This old hulk is now on the back of a lorry and is on her way to Bathgate for scrap.  She was shoved along the canal by a tiny wee tug then moored by the log pier and hoisted onto the lorry. 
I have spent most of today chasing my tail re trying to get the road closure through for the parade at gala day. honestly this entire week has been hellish as we have had an event on every day. Last night was the childrens ceilidh, OMG!  I had to use my teacher voice! Tonight it's the authors evening , hoping that will be less stressfull.  Next year I will be far far away at gala day
Finally at 5.55 this evening the Road closure papers for Sat came through and another of the committee managed to track down a council gnome who said we could have cones and signs. 
These pen pushers get handsomely paid but still couldn't run a bath!
