Foxglove

lots of Foxglove on show on every country lane this afternoon.

Some very strange light and rather humid - not very pleasant healthwise really. I was standing there remembering the same place with snow blowing over the wall. For a second I thought I might have preferred the snow BUT
That would mean no flowers, no House martins chattering overhead, no insects buzzing or floating about.

I decided I can bear it a little longer.

Common Whitethroat family spotted on the return walk to the car. Both adults seen with at least 2 youngsters to feed.

There were butterflies but they were in a hurry or distant most looked like Meadow brown but there may have been Gatekeeper and the hint of something rarer will to return and have another look when the wind is blowing a little less.
