From the Road

We had a wonderful bus trip today, over the Lindis Pass to Omarama, where we had lunch at a local cafe.  The extras are:  (1)  The Cafe  (2)  The Bus  (3)  A Mural in the township and (4)  Omarama Marino.  The snow covered mountain range in the background is the St Bathans mountain range.

It took one and half hours to get there and the same back again.  After lunch we had a wander around town, and amazingly enough, apart from lunch no one seemed to buy any of the woolen products that were for sale in the local shops.  We had lovely sunny weather, and we all had an enjoyable day out.
