fond farewell

Today was Grandad's funeral..... always a sad occasion but his was most certainly a life to be celebrated. Praise God for Jim Thorpe.

For me, a random highlight of the day was ending up at the undertakers for part of the morning doing admin (due to a slight disaster involving service sheets locked in a car many miles away) and travelling to Grandad's house with the staff.... they wouldn't let me wear an undertaker hat which was vaguely disappointing.
