Summer shadows

Today did not start like this - it was murky and rainy.  But it brightened up fairly early on, and evolved into a beautiful summer's day.  I had quite a busy work day - but helped Tim to bottle another batch of wine at lunchtime - and broke off at 5:30pm to go for a walk to the seafront with him.  Very lovely it was, too.  I carried on with work when we got home, and finished just before 8pm, by which point Tim had cooked us a delicious bobotie for dinner.
