Aster

For me the Aster is synonyms with the start of autumn. This delicate purple variety is certainly taking hold of my front garden. And it is dark not long after 9pm, school holidays are over, garden furniture is in the sale and the shops are starting to sell large tubs of Quality Street and Roses. Say no more!
