Devil’s Beef Tub

A last minute decision to re-recce the walk for Saturday. A glorious day in warm sunshine, although the ground was very wet and boggy, and the path difficult to see in places, quite different to how it was back in June.
I met just 3 people, 2 foresters and their adorable dog who was called Timber and a chap who leapt across the hills on prosthetic legs and arms. I was astonished how fast he travelled and he was by no means young, very impressive.
Back in plenty of time for a committee meeting, which as usual went on interminably.
