Man Made

Late morning we met up with granddaughter Amelia and her friend, who were with Amelia's mum at Over Farm, Highnam, Gloucester. When we left home the weather was okay but on arrival it was raining and didn't stop the four hours we were there. I donned wellington's and a raincoat! Getting home late afternoon it looked like it'd been lovely all day with sunshine and blue sky.

This week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge has the theme 'man made' and I did wonder what I could take. I spotted the electricity pylons and it was good to see dozens of birds all sat on one of the wires. It more than fits the bill but a shame to see them spoil the landscape.

Something more beautiful is the extra of Amelia and her friend on a tractor ride which we all enjoyed. The rain was blowing in the sides!

Strange how the weather can vary so much within half hour drive.
