Architecture

The Hiroshi Sugimoto exhibition included photos of modernist buildings, all deliberately blurred. I thought bokeh involved having some bits in focus, but apparently not. The Seagram building, Chrysler building, Eiffel Tower, the Brooklyn Bridge, a Corbusier church somewhere in rural France, all looked like bad tourist snaps. I guess that’s the idea; the building is so well-known it’s recognisable anyway.
