Humber bridge

We ran over the bridge and back this morning.  Only one side of the pedestrian footpath is open at the moment. It was being well used by runners, walkers and cyclists. Had a quick shower and breakfast before popping over to my niece's house to pick up a few ornaments from A's house that we are going to try and sell.  
We tried to break the 4 hour drive at a national trust property in Houghton but the village was rammed and they were turning people away. We escaped the village and then ended up on the M25 and on the way home.  At least we did get a bit of an afternoon in the garden when we got home.  It was much hotter in the South than the North.
