What a FLAP!!

My Saturday was given over to the mission that was fitting a cat flap!!

I began (with the help of my next door neighbour) by trying stupidly to cut a circular hole in the original double glazed panel with a special glass cutting tool, but after two and half hours during which time we discovered the cross section to be glass....plastic film...glass....air pocket....glass.....plastic film....glass, not to mention the leaded insert, we decided to hightail it down to Wickes for a piece of wood.

After many more hours, and some comforting beers, this was the result!!

Ta Dah!!!

Now all that remains is to train the darned cat to actually use it!!!
