Abandoned

Another very windy day . M and I did some watercolour sketches and it was my turn to cook.
We has sweet potato soup, a herby chicken with rice dish and an almond and apple cake. :)
Jay and I went out to Bayhead for some shopping and came back along the committee read.
My father took us out with him to cut peat there a very long time ago !
There are so many very old ruined stone cottages here but this one looked more recent . I wonder why it was abandoned as the structure looked quite solid.
It has been a nice day for us all.
