The Best

This was the best aurora borealis shot I could do and certainly the best I've ever blipped.

I had gone outside very late yesterday evening but got nothing of much interest. Before I went to bed I had a look to see our local Facebook page and 2 people had taken great shots with their phones from the middle of the village. That was it. I must see it, I missed it last time. I gathered my gear together and headed out. By the time I walked to the village centre it was after midnight. From out of the darkness a voice called. I was rather relieved to be in the company of two ladies.

I set up my tripod but had absolutely no luck at all with the Canon but the phone took this poor shot. "You're just a bit late" a lady said "it's fading now." They then showed me their phone shots from earlier.

Later in the day the three of us had our weekly jaunt to a garden centre, this time Houghton Hall. I'll put a flower shot in Extras, one of my favourites, and not just because it's called Susan!
