Morning Shots

Up and out early this morning, 7.15am, and walked ‘the other way’ and up Sa Palomera - the rock that marks the starts of the Costa Brava. Then into the old town and saw the daily food market setting up and queues for the bread shops to open at 8.00. Back to hotel and enjoyed our breakfast.

Reading in the morning - enjoying my Kate Atkinson book. I noticed that the expected fraudulent movement had happened in our bank account and so Bb then had to spend a few hours dealing with that - phone calls to our own branch, to the specific number for reporting fraud and then ended up, on the bank’s recommendation, cancelling the new cards, just issued after my purse being stolen and ordering new ones. Aaagh!

A late lunch in the hotel, just gazpacho and a shared salad, but actually still too much for us. The gazpacho would have been enough.

Apart from having to deal with the bank stuff (thank you Bb), a lovely day.
