Floating
Not a lot of time for photos today but I did manage a little time out in the garden. I desperately need the serenity that the garden provides right now and so grateful that it is summer still with lots of little things flying about. Most of my phlox is past its peak now but one little patch is just now blooming which is great since the hummingbird clearwing moths really do have a great fondness for phlox. Just got lucky on this shot to catch it as the moth pulled back from the flower.
More sad news today. My heart is aching for my friend. Never miss a chance to tell those close to you how you feel about them.
I went to the surgical center today to have both of my sacroiliac joints injected with cortisone. The procedure is very quick and, at least for me, not painful. I have to take it easy for 24 hours but then return to all normal activities. Hubs went with me - although they don't use anesthesia, they still don't want you driving home after. If the injections work as well this time as they did last time, I should get 6 or more months of relief.
The roofers will be here early Thursday morning to start replacing our roof. Fortunately, that is the day Jax goes to daycare so we won't have him barking his head off all day thinking we are under attack by giant pieces of tarpaper.
Dark with ginger today.
