A grand day out

We are developing a tradition of taking the girls out to explore a castle while we are helping with a little school holiday childcare. Today it was Old Wardour Castle in Wiltshire.
We had been here years ago but I don’t remember it being as nice as this. Enjoyed picnics and ice creams and a bit of abortive kite flying as well as the historic loveliness of it all.
The girls were great fun.
