The cyclists using helmets

I have had a habit to count in the same place once a year each year (except one year) since 1989 that how many of the cyclists use helmets.  I have counted that time of the day when commuters go to work or come from work.  1989 only 3  from 100 used a helmet, this year 87 of 100 used helmet.
