Na Fir-chlis

My aurora watch alert was active yesterday but I didn't think too much about it as it so cloudy. However when going to bed I noticed that the night sky was actually really clear and so I went out to the garden to see if there were any signs of the aurora and amazingly they were. 

The photo is slightly fuzzy but it is such a treat to be able capture "The Merry Dancers" (the literal translation of the Gaelic expression) from the garden. 

It was back to cloud and rain this morning and T got soaked on the golf course again but at least he was able to finish the round today.  It brightened up in afternoon and I went for a walk in the Black Spout Woods. It was good to get out but I did feel tired - not sure if this is because I was out in the garden after midnight taking pictures or because of my (possible) Lyme Disease or both.
