Cucumber

After last night's unexpected food fest it's fair to say I was a bit slow this morning. It was fun though, and everyone was on good form. I'd also had another XC (riding) lesson yesterday morning, building on last week's, so my shoulders were feeling it a bit today as well (control is needed at some points on the course).

Anyway, once up and about I dropped off some clothes I'd sold on Vinted and headed up to the allotment to check it out and water everything. Its definitely harvest time: tomatoes, beans, beetroot (not shown), broccoli, plums, raspberries, blackberries and a LOT of apples. The apples can stay on the tree but everything else has been blanched / stewed / cooked and is in the freezer.

No. 2 NC is here for her dinner before she swaps with No. 1 NC who is cat and house sitting over the next few days. She has instructions to eat as many cucumbers as she can.
