After seeing some local photos on social media quite late last night of the Northern Lights I thought I'd better take a look myself.  So went out into the garden and took quite  a few shots.  Think I managed to capture a shooting star too (bottom left).   I was out in the garden until after midnight and the colours had faded quite a bit.

Its been a miserable day today.  Started to drizzle whilst walking Misty this morning and it hasn't stopped.   Had a lovely chat with a friend in the south  who is sweltering in the heat!  Its 10 degrees warmer there than it is in Cumbria.
